Our caregivers continue to commit to quality

I am excited to share with you that since we introduced our sponsorhip of the Alzheimer's Association's certification program, essentiALZ Basics in October, 4 of our Caregivers have become Certified Alzheimer's Caregivers.

Mark Hudelson not only completed the program and achieved his certification, but he immediately put it to work taking care of a couple of our more complicated male clients. His client's family were very generous in their praise of his knowledge, reliability and willingness to go about a beyond. We are so blessed to have him working with Managed Senior Care.

Join Us - Employee Christmas Party

Please mark your calendars for Dec. 15 and join us for our annual Employee Christmas Party. Spouses are welcome! There will be plenty of fun and food for all. 

GR RESTAURANT WEEK STARTS

More than 60 restaurants have created special three-course meals for Restaurant Week GR, which starts Wednesday, August 10.

Restaurant Week GR runs through Aug. 21, with restaurants across the greater Grand Rapids area. My family and I have always found this to be a great opportunity to try a restaurant we've been wanting to visit, but haven't found the time. We make an outing out of the visit and critique the food like we are hosts on a TV show. This year Terra GR is my vote to visit, but we'll see how everyone else votes. 

Many of the restaurants will prepare their three-course meals for one person, while others will prepare their three-course meals for two people — at the same $28 price point.

If you haven't tried it before, consider coming out this year. It's always fun to have a nice meal with good friends. Let me know, how it goes.
