Butterflies are Blooming again

The annual Butterflies are Blooming exhibition is open again at Meijer Gardens. If you haven't been to the gardens lately, consider planning a field trip for you and your receiver.

We have an organizational pass that will get you and your client in free to the exhibit. Just let Danna know if you would like to reserve it for a day.

Thank You Betsy from Norwex

I am are very grateful to Betsy Kimberlin, an Norwex Independent Consultant, for attending both of our Quarterly Employee Meetings last week. Betsy provided information on the chemical free cleaning tools available from Norwex. She was especially convincing on the power of the Enviro Cloths when she showed how it cleaned up chicken fat with only water. Ugh!

Several employees won Household Packages and Basic Packages so they could get started with the products themselves. I am looking forward to hearing from Curt, Mark, Allison, Bille and the others at our May Quarterly regarding how the cloths have worked for them.

If you want to learn more about the products, here is Betsy's contact information.

Our caregivers continue to commit to quality

I am excited to share with you that since we introduced our sponsorhip of the Alzheimer's Association's certification program, essentiALZ Basics in October, 4 of our Caregivers have become Certified Alzheimer's Caregivers.

Mark Hudelson not only completed the program and achieved his certification, but he immediately put it to work taking care of a couple of our more complicated male clients. His client's family were very generous in their praise of his knowledge, reliability and willingness to go about a beyond. We are so blessed to have him working with Managed Senior Care.

If you want to learn more about the essentiALZ Basic program, you can click here to go to their website. Email Danna anytime and let her know if you would like to complete the certificate.

Save money on prescriptions

Prescription prices are often very difficult to absorb. Best case scenario you can find a generic that works and worst case the medication is prohibitively high and you don't buy it, which is why I like to share whenever I find resources that help with the high cost of prescriptions. This month I am sharing with you about GoodRX.com, a discount program we recently joined.

Drug prices vary wildly between pharmacies. GoodRx helps you find the lowest prices and discounts. GoodRX collects and compares prices for every FDA-approved prescription drug at more than 70,000 US pharmacies instantly within the mobile app. It returns to you a visual that shows you the cost of the medication by pharmacies near you. It also offers free coupons to use at the pharmacy. Watch the video attached to see how it works. Then download their mobile app from their website or Apple Store.

Make sure to let me know how it works for you.
